Major Web Grocer Awards ASRS Retrofit Contract
NEW YORK CITY, NY - November 15, 2007 - Fresh Direct, LLC a world renowned leader in the online grocery business has awarded a ASRS retrofit contract to Automation Integrators.
When Fresh Direct engineering managment realized its control system for its high speed carousel based ASRS system was no longer supported, they initiated a nationwide search. The search was to select the best control vendor to rebuild this critical component of their highly automated order fullfillment system.
Fresh Direct selected Automation Integrators to perform this project due to our deep experience with Carousel based ASRS systems. In fact, the two major national carousel suppliers trust us with their highly complicated systems. Fresh Direct agreed with the carousel industry.
